The Center for Resilient and Sustainable Communities (C-RASC) is a joint research center between the College of Engineering and Computing and the College of Science at George Mason University (Mason). It was originally established in 2020 through support from the Provost’s Office and the Volgenau School of Engineering.
C-RASC is a transdisciplinary initiative that supports communities around the world in co-developing resilience strategies that are locally led, scalable, and impact-driven.
VISION:
Partnering with communities to build resilience.
MISSION:
To convene and engage stakeholders in developing community-based solutions to resilience challenges.
