C-RASC is one of five transdisciplinary research centers for advanced study at George Mason University (Mason). It was established in 2020 through support from the Provost’s Office and the Volgenau School of Engineering. C-RASC is committed to creating an inclusive environment that enables active transdisciplinary research collaborations and innovation in the areas of community resilience and sustainability. Additionally, our focus is a bottom-up, community-led approach that addresses resilience in comprehensive and measurable ways. Our partners include a number of organizations and individuals across Mason, local, regional and state governments, nonprofits, and more.
