Abstract: Climate change will transform our planet, with some geographies at greater risk than others. The U.S. has sustained 298 weather and climate disasters since 1980, exceeding $1.975 trillion. The body of climate science and data is vast and overwhelming, and companies and researchers need expertise to comprehend and apply it. At The Climate Service, now a part of S&P Global, our team of climate experts and data scientists have built an easy-to-use, science-backed climate risk analytics platform that helps you identify and measure the climate risks to assets. Results are provided in decision-useful financial terms; provided by asset, company, and portfolio level insights; and by decade out to 2100.
